There are two major email addresses I give out. They both are the same account, but one is easier to type on a cellular device. As time will go on, I will be offering auto-reply email addresses which will send a generic message back when you write to it. To prevent the infinite loop of email auto-replies replying to auto-replies – the host only sends the same email message to the one address once per day. So, if joeshmoe@here.com sends an email to an auto-reply, and he has an auto-reply. He will get an auto-response as expected, but his server sends an auto-reply. My server will not reply.
You can write to one of three addresses that will reach me. The first one is frank@pilone.name. It is simple, and straight to the point. If you know my name, you have most of address immediately. This address maybe tedious for some people to write on a cellular device. So, you could also write to i@fsp.tel. This is much simpler to write, and easier to deal with. There is also frank@fsp.tel which makes more sense, but longer than i@fsp.tel.
All of these addresses forwards to a particular Gmail account. I use Mozilla Thunderbird for my desktop email client, and K-9 Mail for my phone. While I receive email via GMail, I send though one of my IMAP mail services so I can decide which email address to display. Sending through the PC will show my pilone.name address while sending through my phone will show my fsp.tel address.
There was a time where I had unique addresses for people, however after a few years of doing this, ti has proven more problematic than worth. Gmail has excellent SPAM control which is why my email forwards to a Gmail address. Meanwhile, all fspws.TLD domains are being phased out.
