Web Addresses

This page is about all of the web addresses, and URLs in my possession. This will not include any domains that are legacy or will not be kept. Nor will it include any domains I would want, but do not have. All of the domains serves purposes, and some may not have a purpose. Nonetheless, as long as I pay for the registrar, I have rights to the domain.

Note of .TEL Domains

A .TEL domain is not an actual content site, but rather intended on providing a contact directory on the behalf of an individual, or company. All of the back end controls are done by a log in, and selecting form entries, and typing something in. Some things may take a little getting used to, but will instead assure global compliance. One example is a telephone number. Some people may not write their number in ITU format standard. TelNIC requires ITU format standard which is + Country Code and Phone number.

The .TEL does not offer a place to write your blog, or web site. It is intended for a contact directory rather than a web site. The reason this maybe in preference over a web page to display the same thing is .TEL are capable of supporting any Internet connected device including a basic cellular phone with a WML browser. Information changes are usually displayed within a few moments, and the order of the information can be set by the editor.

fsp.cc

This is a universal domain for anything that is not directly related to my personal life. In example, I will be in the process of what I will do if I had $100 Million Dollars. Since this is not real, and therefore – not related with my personal life, it will be set up within a sub domain here. This is the oldest of the fsp domains I have, so I have full intentions of keeping this even if I must drop most of the others.

fsp.im

For friends that will like to have a Word Press based platform web site, this is the domain that will host their site. In example, if Andie (Chris’ Girlfriend) wanted to have her own site, she will get http://andie.fsp.im which is simple to remember, and will not require her to acquire a domain, deal with banner ads on her site, or pay for the hosting.

And while I will provide the site, and address – the person asking for the site will be responsible for their own content. This however, is very easy to use, and almost as simple as using a word processor. In addition, development while not as easy can be done without owning a computer. The person will be able to use a library, or Internet Cafe. In addition, iOS, and Android has a Word Press app which will allow creating or editing content.

In addition to a web address for people to visit, each user will have a dedicated email address that can either forward to another email address, or hosted as an IMAP/POP service with 100MB (POP) or 1GB (IMAP) of storage. In such the example above, Andie would get andie@fsp.im.

fsp.tel

This is my personal Directory Site. As with all .TEL Domains, this one is intended to provide contact information rather than host a web site. In my case, instead of having contact information located everywhere, and then try to make those changes if something changes, every is directed to fsp.tel which will always have up to date information.

In addition, I have two email addresses that I added to allow people to write me. While frank@pilone.name works as well, the two from the .TEL address is easier to compose from on a cellular device. In which case, you would be able to find these email addresses at fsp.tel.

fsp.tw

This is my personal redirect site. If I need to give someone a short URL, they will get the domain with a set of numbers afterwards. Such an example might be http://fsp.tw/100. This is also exclusive to me, so only I will create such links which will virtually eliminate any possible malware, and any link caught with such, or a dead link – the link will be killed, and point to one of my pages until a replacement is made.

Email addresses on this domain are all auto-replies only. So, if you write to frank@fsp.tw, you would get an auto-reply that is about me. No email going to fsp.tw will ever be answered. All email is automatically deleted. If you would wish to actually write to me, you would want to refer to my contact directory.

fspuntd.com

Dreamhost (my hosting company) provides a free domain with hosting. In this case, the domain doesn’t serve much of a purpose, but will provide a uniformed page to see all of my Internet properties. It will also provide additional basic details that is uniformed on all sites. Email is limited if any at all. This domain while there is some purpose – it is very limited.

fsp412.tel

This Contact Directory is on a very personal level. It is intended to provide contact information of people and companies that I may have to take buses too, or do not need in my contacts regularly. One example maybe a local pizza outlet. I don’t order every day, but may want to once in a while. I can simply go the URL I set up within the .TEL directory, and make a phone call. This allows me to have the needed information without having to look it up.

The home page (fsp412.tel) will have a link to fsp.tel, and not much else. This provides population, however it will be up to me to remember the sub domains as I need them.

malak.tel / talisa.tel

This is the contact directory of my male Pit Bull. While it is obvious that dogs will not be receiving phone calls, nor email – the contact resources are on the behalf in the case they were to get lost, and someone finds them. By providing all of the contact details in an easy to figure URL, it allows a person to find my info, and reach me as quickly as possible.

pilone.name / pilone.tel

These domains are reserved for the extended family of Frank Pilone that are in good standing. The member must have the Pilone surname, and be recognized as related to the domain owner. At this time, this only includes myself, my brother, his children, and my pets. Chris’s pets will also be included, but for the most part, there are no tags recognizing them, nor will anyone develop the site itself. Additional options will include if I were to get married or have children.

The Pilone.NAME web addresses are always in the format of the first name being the sub-domain. In my case, this will be http://frank.pilone.name. This web site will either be a forwarder/redirect or will host the actual web site. Pilone.TEL are as with any other .TEL domain intended to provide an actual contact directory. Since limited access at this time can not offered, all changes must be through me. In case of web URLs for the .TEL, it is exactly the same with the exception of the domain extension being .tel rather than .name.

Email is treated in a fashion of one of three methods for the .name, while the .tel is only 1. All pilone.name addresses can forward to another email address, be a POP3 account with 100MB, or IMAP with 1GB. IMAP is granted more capacity since the email always resides on the server. In the case of pilone.tel, all email forwards to another email account.

telmy.tel

TelMy.TEL provides a single contact directory page for one person, or family. All of the users of this account will be friends of mine, or have a relationship deemed as worthy. In addition the person must give me the contact information that they will be available for public viewing. Therefore, if the phone number is not public, it should not included on this page. Email addresses are forwarding only.

While this is looked to as something nice, keep in mind if you owned your own .TEL domain name. This will give you more power, and control. You will also have sub domains which can work in the same manner as fsp.tel does for much in the same manner. A link from your telmy.tel domain can simply point to the owned .TEL address.
