August 2016

This month could have been better. Not much happened. I acquired an iPad Mini 2 which in most instances performs inferiorly to my former Nexus 7. If I had a choice between the two, it would have been an Nexus. I got a new counselor with the community center my pain psychologist recommended. I will have an initial appointment with her in the second week of September. Got a new wallet which will reduce the bulk that I would otherwise carry.

Someone asked if I will take their dog for a couple of reasons. I told them I and Malak will have to meet with the dog, and a few things will need to happen first. I was supposed to meet with the dog on one of the weekends late in the month, but never happened.

I was not able to go to the food bank. Considering it is only available one day a month, and I have walk from up and down Troy Hill Road to get the food, it was becoming too much on me in multiple levels. I also mailed a letter to my case manager asking for assistance with a subject. That was in the middle of the month, and I have yet to hear from him. I am likely going to give up on that resource and if need be – consider other resources.

Starting in September, will start giving Malak two walks a day. This is because the heat that is prevalent in the day will likely not be as intense. Been feeling much in a rut lately, and hopefully the extra exercise will help. Received a change in Buspirone which is an Anti-Anxiety medicine. So far, no changes of results. I expect September to be much like August.
