This month could have been a better month, but I made due. A number of things have happened which is probably worth mentioning. Some of these changes will also have an impact on my goal of getting out of debt which will cause some setbacks. Also, someone out of the blue have contacted me which was not expected and finally got an appointment I needed for a few months, but will have to wait on the appointment.
First, for the contacts. My brother as usual will call about once a month, and offer some vague promise of visiting. This month, he called twice with the same vague promise which never happened. This is normal lately. He is also making some choices I would not agree with, but he is his own person, and he knows my opinion. I also received a call for a psychiatrist appointment which will hopefully address some of the severe anxiety issues I have. I won’t see the psychiatrist until the second week of May. I had been in need of a new one since January. Since I am not running around with a shot gun, I guess I am not a priority. A distant family member also got a hold of me by email asking if I had the contact information of my Aunt (Mother’s sister). This is not something I have, and have yet to hear back from her. I would assume as with most of my family, she won’t need of me any longer. Continue reading April 2017
February was a bit more eventful. Chris made a larger payment on money he owed, but that is where I will keep anything else private. The money was used to address some of my active debt. My media tablet for my home music player has went dead. This forced me to get a new one. Since I listen to music all of the time, a player is important. I also went to see my anesthesiologist who he and his colleagues have been recommending another specialist in conjunction of their treatment. I also visited my ear doctor which told me that my problem will be reoccurring but not too serious. I guess when it excels in being a problem, I would need to make a special appointment with them.
On some brighter news, Chris gave me an Amazon gift card as a birthday present. It was nice of him, but my birthdays are typically not important to me. However, that is the end there. My keyboard is acting up, and some keys have been sticking. Since I use a notebook PC, it is not so easy to just get a new keyboard. I had also been using a dating site for a couple of months, and as with past experiences, not much in the way of luck.
Not much happened this week. Andrea, and Chris had some problems which meant he spent a few days with me. Otherwise, not much else happened. I got flea prevention medicine for the dogs which I will use in a couple of weeks. Otherwise, not much else happened. I wasn’t as productive as I would like to have been with my document that I have been working on, but this should hopefully change come next week. As for plans for next week, I will have to do some things that some people I deal with won’t like, but this is their consequences. I will also have a couple of errands to address which I am going to try to do everything at one time.
Not much happened this week. I went to my brother’s place a couple of time, one with the dogs. Otherwise, I took them out for a walk when the weather was good, and when I wasn’t in a lot of pain. I also did some work on a site that is in BETA that will soon be a part of a new domain. For the most part, this week has been relatively quiet. As for plans for next week, not much is planned – especially considering it is the end of the month. I will hopefully get the unlock code for the phone I wanted to sell. If not, I will have to call T-Mobile and demand something in return. I will also hopefully be able to get some of the money that will be needed for Talisa’s test.
Not much happened this week. I received a little of the money Chris owed me, but not as much as I wanted. I deposited the money into the bank which was then transferred to the two credit cards, and a portion to the Google Wallet. In addition, I decided to upgrade my phone from the Nexus 4 to the Nexus 5. I also learned the hard way that even Nexus devices with T-Mobile is locked to T-Mobile. I requested an unlocked code for my Nexus 4 which the last payment will be paid in July’s bill. The first payment for my Nexus 5 will be in August. Last this week, Chris came by on Saturday for a couple of hours.
As for plans for the next week, I will be expecting not only my normal benefits, but a rent rebate deposit. This is due on July 1, which the money will be used to pay for the dog’s annual visit, and the rest to my credit cards to reduce the money owed. I am also expecting a BAWI site to be registered which I will start to work on (hopefully). I had been a bit lazy on my sites this week, and hope to make up for it in the coming week.
This week was much like many other weeks. I had to disconnect with someone on BBM because they of course made an half-ass conversation, and suddenly, they feel I should be obligated to give them money. It is a shame that Ghanian, and Nigerian scam artists are infecting such a good service. I wanted to get more work on my sites done than I did. It was just one of those weeks. On some other news, a rebate application for a set of wired headphones came through to the processing center. It took them a week to do it, but at least it is done. I should hopefully be able to get the rebate in the form of a prepaid debit card in about a week.
On some other news, I went to the Humane Society to get a 3 month supply of heartworm prevention medicine. For the two dogs, it would have cost about $35 (about $6/pill). However when I went in to buy, I was told I could only get one month since the dogs are due for a new test in the next month. That wouldn’t have been as much of an issue if the two pills cost a bit less than $20 (about $10/pill). Needless to say, I am going have a complaint when they go in for their annual check up. It would also seem as if the one credit card that I needed to use to pay for the medicine had a bad magnetic stripe which also meant that I had to request a new card. Since this is the card that my bills, and essentials goes on, it will also mean I will have to jump through hoops to change the numbers.

This week could have been better. Not much happened. I had received a couple of new domains – all of which were in pre-register. This only applies with new domain extensions such as .condos, and .xyz domains. Obviously, since I not have them, they are no longer in pre-registration. I also did a little work on my other websites, but this week hasn’t been as productive as I would have liked. Chris came by on Friday evening, and spent the night. On Saturday, I returned with Chris to pick up a few groceries he wanted to give me. I didn’t take much, but the food was a big benefit as it would not force me to rush into getting food immediately, or otherwise spend cash.
As for plans for next week, I will be working on my sites a bit more. After I catch myself up, I will start putting my BETA Site to use. I am also scheduled to receive my food stamps in the coming week, and I have an appointment with my anesthesiologist. My week is expected to be rather quiet though.
This week was a little busy. I got half of the money from Andrea for her phone bill. I also got money that someone else owed me. My brother is still having problems. In addition, I had to pay for an insurance deductible. In addition, the neighbor’s tree got struck by lightning and fell into the back yard. The tree got cut down on Friday. Friday was also spent in paying my bills, and I got my niece a domain name for her birthday. Obviously, I am also hosting it for her.
My source of income came in, and obviously the first thing I did was set everything in motion to pay my bills. My rent got mailed out, and my credit cards got their payment. I made sure I set aside some money in my bank to address my electric bill. I also walked the dogs to my brother’s place on Saturday, and while Nippers is usually behaved, she decided to start a fight with Malak a couple of times. No serious injuries, Nippers had a couple of scratches, but all is well. Each occurrence only lasted a few seconds until I was able to pull the instigator off, and correct her. The most serious event was a long skin deep scratch on my leg which is fine. After the episodes, everything was fine.
As for plans for next week, not much is planned. I am expecting the registration of 2 domains to come through, and I will have to send back the phone my brother broke which is a part of Assurance’s agreement. The landlord has to make a minor repair which I think is from the fallen tree, but otherwise – little else is planned.
Not much happened this week. I had to get a few groceries, and while I wanted to give the dogs a long walk this week, it rained on most days. I also got my benefits which went to most of my bills. Otherwise, there has been little that happened this week. Some of my time went to working on my newest site. Chris said he was going to stop down, but never did. As for plans on the coming week, not much is planned. I will be going to a follow up appointment, and will be getting groceries as well. I will also expect to get the money from Andrea for her portion of the phone bill which will be applied to my Electric bill with whatever is left to my credit card.
Sunday was much like most Sundays. I walked the dogs, but that was the most eventful part of the day. Chris said he was going to stop by, but never did. I’m assuming his employer decided to not pay his check yet. That is a whole another story which I would never get into with this blog. And while it will be financially hard, I purchased a bag of dog food that is at about $1.00/lb as opposed to 64¢/lb. This will be a financial challenge as this will mean $80 per month, but I will hopefully make due. The dogs should have something better quality then what they been eating. Since I never went to the store (no bus service), I ordered through Amazon, and it is being sent through them which I should receive it on Wednesday. At this time, I will use the last bag and shift the new dog food by gradually mixing it with the old.
I was hoping to walk the dogs to Andrea’s house, but there was a good chance of rain which means I would have likely got stuck in it, especially returning home. Instead, their walk took them down Rialto Street, across the 31st bridge, along Penn Avenue, across the 16th street bridge, and up Troy Hill Road. When they got home, I gave them half of the meal they normally get in opting to split their meal across two periods. This is because Malak doesn’t seem to do as well with eating all one meal. When they go to their annual checkup, I will bring it up with the vet. I also made a couple of phone calls, but otherwise – not much happened today especially with the rain coming in on the afternoon. The day finished off rather ordinary. I watched a couple of videos, and podcasts, but not much beyond that. I will blame the walk for that.
