Today (2015-10-07) due to a number of factors that have affected me negatively, it will seem as if it might be in my best interest to consider reducing more of my bills. The most significant bill (other than rent and Internet) will be cellular phone. As for Internet, I will be contacting my ISP to ask about a lower plan. As for cellular phone, I have 3 options. First, I can continue with my current carrier which is the cheapest of the big 4. In this case, after EIPs are paid off, I will have a $72 phone bill. Second option is to choose a cheaper provider. Most such companies are pre-paid. I could also go with a per minute provider and micro-manage my cost. The third option is to get as close to free as possible. This will be to use T-Mobile’s 200MB free data plan, and use a cellular Life Line service. There will still be some costs involved though. The first option is the easiest, and the one I would prefer. The second will be the cheapest upfront as it will just be a matter of changing the SIM card. The third will have the biggest investment, but will offer the biggest reduction of costs.
For now, T-Mobile (my current provider) will continue to have my business. At the very least, I still have to make EIP (Easy Installment Payments) on devices I already own. However, in order for me to know if a choice will work, I have to make sure there are no problems. And while everything might look good on paper, there is still practice. This post might help someone in a similar position as I.

September was one of the worst months I can recall in a very long time. One could read in all of the detail with the Bad September Entry. On a note of the after-effects, Talisa is doing better. Her skin irritation has cleared up, and only a couple of traces of it remains. People who had their phone turned off that were in my account hasn’t made any attempts to pay the past due. Since I still have the full phone bill to pay off (use the service, then pay for it), October will be a very bad month – at least financially. As for Talisa’s tests, the cheapest place is her regular vet office which is $150 for the visit, CBC, and thyroid test.
On one bit of good news, food assistance benefits gone from $77 to $109. So, now I am up to 40% of what a person needs to live with regards to food. American Dream, here I come. Obviously, the state of assistance with people in poverty is a whole another matter, so I won’t get into that. As for the exterminator, he has to come a couple of more times. The last time he didn’t need to spray in here. Just now have to make it through October. While the events of September have past, the financial consequences of those events are likely to continue through the rest of the year.
Not much happened today. Andrea finally paid her bill, although she gave me a hard time about it, and it feels like she is giving a big FU every time she’s to pay her bill. In the meantime, I also did some work on some documents.
The dogs didn’t get a walk because it was raining most of the time. As for plans for tomorrow, I will hopefully walk the dogs, and will call my brother. Otherwise, just the basics for tomorrow.
Not much happened today. I walked the dogs, and while walking the dogs, I had a couple of potential SPAM calls (since they didn’t leave a voicemail) which I have set up rules against them. I also made meals for the day, and did some work on a document.
Andrea was supposed to pay her phone bill today, but this didn’t happen. Instead, she will pay it tomorrow. This however is the third time she made a promise to pay her bill – now more than 2 weeks late. She continues this, and there won’t be a phone line for her.

Today was a very long day. I left about 9AM and didn’t get home until almost 5:30PM. Look at all of the things I do for family. First, Andrea needed a replacement phone, so I needed to make those arrangements. This was done in Downtown, and while I was dealing with the phone, I also paid the bill. Once I finished that, I sent Chris’ defective phone which was to be sent via UPS.
I then arrived at Andrea’s place which my youngest nephew for the second day in a row has been nothing but mean and miscreant to me. I am not taking it personally, but if it was my child, there would have to be a bit more discipline with him. I even caught him kicking Nippers (the family dog) which I really set him straight about that.

Not much happened today. Chris stopped by, and he didn’t have the phone bill, but promised that he would have in a couple of days. I personally am getting tired of such incompetence or disregard for my needs, especially since I paid their bill two weeks ago.
Not much else happened. I walked the dogs, and chatted with someone – but for the most part, the day has been quiet. As for plans for tomorrow, no plans for the day. I might consider giving the dogs a longer walk, but it will depend on the weather, and how I feel physically since I will have to tackle Troy Hill Road with their good long walk.
Not much happened today. Neither Andrea, nor Chris paid their phone bill, so I will be forced to continue using the credit card. If I don’t get the money next week, then I will suspend their lines. I didn’t do much else today though.
As for plans for tomorrow, no real plans for the day. I will of course walk the dogs, but otherwise – things will be much like any other Sunday.
Today was a hectic day. I spent much of it on the phone trying to deal with a mailing address discrepancy. It will seem as if the Allegheny County Assistance Office is claiming that they only have my residential address, while UPMC for You which is my insurance provider through Medical Assistance says they must continue to use my PO Box as that is what the ACAO has. Even getting the local state representative hasn’t improved matters.
In addition, Andrea hadn’t made any payment with the phone bill. While I doubt it, she still has through tomorrow, but it will just make my life a little more difficult. I will wait until Sunday before trying to deal with it – as to give a benefit of a doubt.

Not much happened today. I had to make a couple of phone calls which I done. I also received my T-Mobile bill which was a little higher than I expected. I found out why, and it shouldn’t be a regular occurrence. The landlord came to cut the grass in the back yard, and of course I walked the dogs.
I also had to write a couple of emails, and checked on a couple of things online, but the day was a little productive for the most part. As for plans for tomorrow, not much is planned. I will have to go to get dog food this week, and if possible, get cleats on my shoes to minimize the number of trips I will have to take. If I don’t get the dog food this week, it will be on Monday next week when I go to an appointment.
Not much happened today. I got most of the money Andrea owed her phone. She told me that she will pay the rest later in the month. I will likely require that she moves her phone line when the contract ends as this is too much of a regular occurrence.
I also did a little work on a web site to finish it off, and started a new one. I will hopefully be able to finish that at the end of this week. Not much else happened today except another call with Netflix which they finally fixed the problem.
