A bit happened today, at least during the morning. In a sense, I didn’t want to go as I still had a bit of pain, however I sucked it up. I had a few errands that had to be done in order to make life reasonable over the next days, and future. Before I left, I gave the dogs a rawhide stick. They get one every few days to keep their teeth clean.
About 9AM, I left to take a bus to go to a post office. It was actually a sub-station with the postal clerk complaining that I only had a $100 bill when I wanted to pay for $70 worth of services. I personally feel it wasn’t my fault that he couldn’t complete my order fully. I think from now on, I will check to see if I could just purchase online through the post office’s web site. It wouldn’t have solved all of my problems, but it would have solved what I would consider as stupidity on the worker’s part.
After leaving the post office which I spent too long there, I rushed to the grocery store. While there, I bought bouillon cubes which is used for the dogs’ food. I also bought three loaves of bread which I will hope will last through the 10th of April. I went to the bank to deposit the remainder of the money I had. This means I technically have no cash on hand, but I am fine with that. I do have the public transit’s fare card, and bus tickets. The tickets are for the transfers.
Once I got home, I let the dogs out in the back yard so they could do their business, and then went to my bank’s web site where I paid the phone bill, and the electric bill (an estimate). Since I don’t know the amount, I am making an educated guess. If I under estimate, it should only be by a few dollars which I will pay when my benefits come in.
I then composed some email, and checked Facebook (which is usually a waste of time). I also watched a couple of shows on Hulu, wrote a blog posting. I wasn’t able to walk the dogs this afternoon, so I am hoping to do that tomorrow morning, and maybe the afternoon. However, I did bathe them both which they really needed it. They both hate a bath, and will avoid it, but once they realize they have no choice, they accept it.
As for plans for tomorrow, I will likely stay home which I need too. If I am physically well enough, I will walk the dogs. While home, I will try to do some work on various sites I been neglecting. No real plans otherwise until Monday when my benefits comes in, and I can pay the rest of my bills.
