This month was much like most months. However, I was busier than normal with appointments. There have been some changes. First, the department of Traveler’s AId which provides me with bus fare to get to and from doctor appointments have changed. I called the new department for the first time late last month. I also acquired a USB A – C cable. This will allow me to charge my phone next to where I sleep. Before this, I had to charge it early in the morning.
The first week was as normal. I, however, had a phone call regarding my brother. He, however, has yet to actually call me since the last time he did me wrong. This is for the best in my opinion, but he still sees it fit to cause more issues with me. Next, I had a doctor’s appointment which I went to. When I got back into Downtown, I missed my bus and had to go to a McDonalds’ to get off of my feet. This was because of me having to get bread to support my meals.

This month could have been better. At the very least, it was frustrating. Where I will have a significant bias, and take much of what happened as personal, I will try to not let it affect the basic truth of what happened. This will be done as best as can be.
In the first week of the month, my brother did something wrong by me. It has even come to the point where I can not trust him any longer. With that being said, I had asked my landlord to do a couple of things to help deal with what my brother has done to me. If the precautions I have taken will fail, I will have to consider moving, or worst case scenario, surrender Malak and become homeless until I will be able to find a new place to live. The first week was hectic. First, I managed to consolidate all of my bills into one loan. This will hit me a bit, but will hopefully be able to reduce the stress of the debt I had – some being as high as 27%. Also, in the first week, I received my rent rebate which was transferred to my new checking account. I also had a couple of appointments and had to go to the community center to collect my food from their food bank.
The second week, I got my food stamps which of course – I used to get the majority of my food. I also took Malak in for his annual checkup. Because of everything beforehand, it was a bit hard on me. I made due as normally. I also changed ISPs from Comcast to Verizon FiOS. I am going to keep that as long as possible, however, I need it for at least 4 months, otherwise, the change will be for naught. The reason of the change is Comcast will not allow current customers to get Internet Essentials. Malak also got his annual checkup. He is 80lb of muscle, and relatively healthy for his age. The vet recommended fish oil capsules to help with any joint issues he might have in the future. He is at least 6 years old now, so that is a reasonable concern. As expected, he tested negative for heartworm. Continue reading July 2017
This month could have been better. I severed ties with my brother and his ex-girlfriend. If one was to talk to him, he would make it sound as if it was over one incident. In reality, it is over 20 years of misbehavior, and the incidents in question are just the straw that broke the camel’s back so to say. The first week also had an outing on the behalf of someone else, and two appointments – all of which took a bit out of me. Nonetheless, I made due as usual.
The second week – mostly was spent trying to reduce the issues of the first week. I did have to go to the grocery store. The upstair’s neighbor passed her responsibility for the cat on to me. I already changed my passphrase, and will no longer allow her to have access to my network. I am sure she will not be happy about it, but I care not. As for the kitten, the cat went to animal control Continue reading June 2017
The first two weeks of the month were extremely busy. On the first, I took my prescription down to Rite-Aid to be filled. It would seem as if they wanted to “give company policy” to make me make a special trip the next day to get my prescription. I was considering seeing if there were alternatives, but it will seem as if the anesthesiologist will start submitting my morphine to the pharmacy electronically. I will expect I will still need to provide ID.
Seen my pain psychologist on Wednesday, and went to a community center for the food bank on Friday. These too were in the first week of the month. In addition, on Tuesday of the first week, I went to the pharmacy (again), followed by getting cleats on my shoes, and an appointment for an eye exam and new glasses. It would seem as if my eyes were a bit worse. To make matters worse, not only did I need Transition Lenses (when the lens gets darker in sunlight), but the eye doctor wanted me to have a no glare lens as well. I expected to have a $500 bill, and the bill came to $493. This meant I needed to use a credit card. I got the new glasses on May 12.

This month could have been a better month, but I made due. A number of things have happened which is probably worth mentioning. Some of these changes will also have an impact on my goal of getting out of debt which will cause some setbacks. Also, someone out of the blue have contacted me which was not expected and finally got an appointment I needed for a few months, but will have to wait on the appointment.
First, for the contacts. My brother as usual will call about once a month, and offer some vague promise of visiting. This month, he called twice with the same vague promise which never happened. This is normal lately. He is also making some choices I would not agree with, but he is his own person, and he knows my opinion. I also received a call for a psychiatrist appointment which will hopefully address some of the severe anxiety issues I have. I won’t see the psychiatrist until the second week of May. I had been in need of a new one since January. Since I am not running around with a shot gun, I guess I am not a priority. A distant family member also got a hold of me by email asking if I had the contact information of my Aunt (Mother’s sister). This is not something I have, and have yet to hear back from her. I would assume as with most of my family, she won’t need of me any longer. Continue reading April 2017
Not much happened today being a Sunday. I did a little bit of work on a web site. I also walked the dogs, and got a hold of my brother. Otherwise, this day was pretty quiet. As for plans for tomorrow, it will be the same, and I will have to go grocery shopping. I will need to get a couple of things. Yes, this is a short and dull post, but most of my days are that way.
Not much happened today. I spent some time working on a web site, and walked the dogs. I also watched a few videos, but nothing special happened today. In addition, I made a couple of phone calls, one of them being to my brother. I also received the money from the person that owed me some. Of course, he will pay at the last minute because no one I know is reliable, and all of their problems is so great. The money will be deposited on Wednesday, unless I will have to go somewhere beforehand. This way, I can minimize the number of bus trips I will have to take.
As for plans for tomorrow, no plans. I will expect to be home, and will give the dogs a brushing. Otherwise, things will be much like every other Saturday.
Not much happened today. I tried to do some work that needed to be done a few days ago, but the multi-function center refuses to work (again). I gave up, and took the work down to FedEx Office. I will receive the money back, but it is still a pain in the behind. I will call Brother again about this failed machine when I have the patience and resources. I will likely have to allow them to hold a deposit while a replacement machine is in cross shipping.
Not much else is going on. Things are much the same, and the days are relatively quiet. I had a lot of Lindens which were converted to US dollars to pay for about half of my bill. This of course depleted much of my Lindens, but I haven’t been spending them much anyhow.

Not much happened today. I had an errand to go to where I picked up a SIM card for the benefit of my brother. He will have the same conditions that his girlfriend has. Once I got back, I set up the phone to work with his Google Voice service, and made sure everything was running (as good as the incompetent G2x can). I also installed a battery meter widget to display the battery strength in the notification pane, Drop Box, a Flashlight App, Lookout security, and of course Google Voice. I adjusted a few of the contacts in his Contacts List that I knew needing adjusting, but he will be responsible for managing his own contacts. Last, I set up the web browser to make his Contact directory as his start page.
After that, I took the dogs for a walk, and fed them. They didn’t seem to be in the mood to play, so they came in early after their outing to where they could play. I also watched a couple of shows on Hulu, but otherwise – the day has been quiet.
