Today was a busy day. I had to go to Bellevue to get the soles of my shoes replaced. This took about an hour of waiting, however there was also the time of riding the bus. Thankfully the bus on the way home connected with the Route 4 within moments which was good. In turn, I left a little before 9AM to catch the 9AM bus, and got home about 12:30PM. After I got home, I walked the dogs, and fed them.

As for plans for tomorrow, no plans really – being a Saturday. The next time I will have to go out or address something will be on Monday when I have a doctor’s appointment, and must also address some copies that will need to be handled. This however will be for another day.

I went to Colaizzi today to pick up the replacement shoes. However, the breaking in of them has been a bit more painful. I did walk the dogs on a 60 minute walk with the suffering, but Talisa pulling hasn’t helped make things better. As for plans for tomorrow, I will be watching Xavier much of the day. I sent Andie directions on how to get to my place. I am also hoping that Chris will do something he needs to do on my behalf.

Today was a busy day, although didn’t finish everything I needed to do. I will have to go to the post office tomorrow. However, I made it to my appointment with the Colaizzi Pedorthic. They had a mold of my right foot, and make a new mold of the left foot. These molds will be used to make custom shoes which will take 4 – 6 weeks. Chris picked me up in the North Side and stayed for a couple of hours. After which, I watched a DVD so it can be dropped off at a mailbox. I took Talisa out for a walk, and a couple of teenagers were startled as they didn’t pay attention, and my walking with a crutch and her at my side startled them a little. One even commented with “Damn, that is a big dog”. I’m thinking in my head, wait until she is full grown.

However, on some good news, on my way back, a woman who knew I was looking for second dog asked me if I will be interested in a 6 month old male Pit Bull. Needless to say, I will need to do some house training, and get him to behave the way I will want to – but if all works out, I will of course be interested. The woman will be getting him shots, and neutered. I am guessing I will have to get the micro-chip, but considering she just wants him to go a good home, she’s not asking for any money. She said that is good on walking, and friendly with other dogs. This is a good start.

Today started off as a boring day, but quickly became chaotic, and ended well for the most part. Talisa is starting to act spoiled. Her diet consisted of a hot dog in the morning with a cup of dog food. She is now only eating the hot dog, and not the dog food. So, I am guessing I will have to settle that before it becomes out of control. The morning was reasonably well otherwise, but then I received a call from Colaizzi Pedorthic  that my shoes aren’t approved. I then have to fight with my insurance company about it. I guess I will not be going on Monday for the mold castings for the shoes.

After so far not winning with the insurance, I settled in for the evening, and walked Talisa in the evening after a show. However, during the walk, Andie called and asked if I will be willing to come over. It was her birthday, and this was also an opportunity for Talisa to meet Nippers (Andie and Chris’ Pit Bull). Nippers is normally aggressive with other dogs, but after some patience and a controlled meeting, the two played for a while, and Talisa even worn out 4½ year old Nippers. With some proper work and conditioning, Nippers and Talisa should get along just well. Since we got there late, Chris will make it up with Andie the next day, and I may even bring Talisa back. In my opinion, it would be good for her to be able to socialize with others. I did find out that Xavier was upset that Talisa had to leave. Of course with proper guidance, Talisa is usually very well behaved with children.

Today was a busy day. I went to Colaizzi Pedorthic to turn in the prescription, and will have to return on the coming Monday. I did watch a couple of shows, and took Talisa to the pharmacy to get the shoe laces I needed. Otherwise, not much went on. I was a bit tired so I took a small nap. As for plans for tomorrow, not much planned. I am hoping to see Chris tomorrow which I should hopefully get some money he would owed.

Today was a little bit of a busy day. After taking Talisa out for a walk, I had to go on the bus which I caught the 9AM bus. This bus took me to Downtown which I then picked up my mail at the post office, and headed back towards Penn Avenue to pick up the Route 13 bus. The reason I needed to catch this bus was to go to Bellvue which is where I will need to get a detail on what needs to be written on the prescription for replacement shoes. Since I have to wear pedorthic shoes, I need the prescription to get them replaced. One is a bit older then the other, but the newest one is at least a couple of years.

As for plans for tomorrow, I will need to make a couple of phone calls (one being the doctor).
