January 2015

New year, and new challenges. I was able to get my food assistance benefits corrected, but now they are about half of what they should be. This will mean that I will have to either push more money to my food budget, or decrease my food consumption. My income however went up $20 and waiting on the repercussions of that in other resources I have to rely on. As always, I will make due with or without. This is a simple fact of life. Since things can’t change, it is a matter of acceptance or not.

This will mean that the new domains acquired last year will likely expire. I will have to make some adjustments to what I can or want to do in life. In turn, I will try to be more active with Twitter, which will send posts to Facebook. This will help satisfy any one that has a desire to know now demand with life. I will continue working on my ACTA Plan site even though I hadn’t made my deadline. The keyword is my deadline.

Week 23 – 2014

This week could have been better. Not much happened. I had received a couple of new domains – all of which were in pre-register. This only applies with new domain extensions such as .condos, and .xyz domains. Obviously, since I not have them, they are no longer in pre-registration. I also did a little work on my other websites, but this week hasn’t been as productive as I would have liked. Chris came by on Friday evening, and spent the night.  On Saturday, I returned with Chris to pick up a few groceries he wanted to give me. I didn’t take much, but the food was a big benefit as it would not force me to rush into getting food immediately, or otherwise spend cash.

As for plans for next week, I will be working on my sites a bit more. After I catch myself up,  I will start putting my BETA Site to use. I am also scheduled to receive my food stamps in the coming week, and I have an appointment with my anesthesiologist. My week is expected to be rather quiet though.

Week 22 – 2014

This week was a little busy. I got half of the money from Andrea for her phone bill. I also got money that someone else owed me. My brother is still having problems. In addition, I had to pay for an insurance deductible. In addition, the neighbor’s tree got struck by lightning and fell into the back yard. The tree got cut down on Friday. Friday was also spent in paying my bills, and I got my niece a domain name for her birthday. Obviously, I am also hosting it for her.

My source of income came in, and obviously the first thing I did was set everything in motion to pay my bills. My rent got mailed out, and my credit cards got their payment. I made sure I set aside some money in my bank to address my electric bill. I also walked the dogs to my brother’s place on Saturday, and while Nippers is usually behaved, she decided to start a fight with Malak a couple of times. No serious injuries, Nippers had a couple of scratches, but all is well. Each occurrence only lasted a few seconds until I was able to pull the instigator off, and correct her. The most serious event was a long skin deep scratch on my leg which is fine. After the episodes, everything was fine.

As for plans for next week, not much is planned. I am expecting the registration of 2 domains to come through, and I will have to send back the phone my brother broke which is a part of Assurance’s agreement. The landlord has to make a minor repair which I think is from the fallen tree, but otherwise – little else is planned.

Hopefully New Domains to Come

I had set forth a pre-registration for four domains. Two of them have been attempted through Name.com, while the other two have been attempted through Dream Host. A pre-registration is an attempt to acquire the domain names before they become available for the general public to acquire. And while I don’t know the intricacies of the system, I will like to hope it is based on priority and then first come – first serve basis. Even with this in mind, I am not guaranteed to win any of them. The domains are as follows:

  1. fsp.condos
  2. fsp.country
  3. fsp.rentals
  4. fsp.xyz

Week 18 – 2014

Not much happened this week. I had to get a few groceries, and while I wanted to give the dogs a long walk this week, it rained on most days. I also got my benefits which went to most of my bills. Otherwise, there has been little that happened this week. Some of my time went to working on my newest site. Chris said he was going to stop down, but never did. As for plans on the coming week, not much is planned. I will be going to a follow up appointment, and will be getting groceries as well. I will also expect to get the money from Andrea for her portion of the phone bill which will be applied to my Electric bill with whatever is left to my credit card.

Week 17 – 2014

This week was a somewhat eventful one. I had to go to the ear doctor which they put a hole in the ear drum to drain the fluids. They also gave me ear drops which is to help with the fluid. It seems to be working properly, although there is still a few days left with that. I took the dogs for a long walk to Downtown, but was in a bit of pain when I got back. In this regard I over did it I am sure. I also received some money owed which went to Amazon. This is because I need to build up as much as possible to address the Prime Membership fees that will be due next month.

The dentures aren’t doing as well as I would like. I will make an appointment next week to address that. On some other news, I got a new domain name which is fsp.house, however I didn’t get fsp.link. The first one joined my Big Ass What If Network of sites, while the second unsuccessful one was intended to replace fsp.cc as a redirect system. I have sought for two other domains in pre-registration – which both will join the Big Ass What If Network of sites as well. The first pre-registered was fsp.rentals (be released on May 29), while the second is fsp.country (be released on July 1).

If I had $100,000

This blog post was definitely harder than I expected. It would seem as if this amount would have been worth noting, but I had to make some decisions on big ticket items such as a house of my own. Assuming that I would had to furnish it, and it would have likely needed renovation, this made it too much. Which then brought more money for other things. While I will try to keep this post shorter than I could have made it, it will still be a long post.

There will have to be some things to keep in mind. First, this amount is Net (after taxes). Second, this is to assume that it would not affect my sources of income and assistance unless I have too much after 6 months. The reason for this is imagine if someone said, here is $100,000 – but you can not work, and any financial assistance will be in a waiting line that could take 5-10 years. Needless to say, if you were smart, you would probably say no.

Not much happened today. I finished some pages on my web site, and I checked to see if a domain would be available for acquisition when I qualify for a free domain with my hosting company. I will eventually need to transfer my domains over from Godaddy to another company. I was hoping to have done it already, but this obviously wasn’t possible. To transfer the last of the domains will cost an extra $35 which is not something I have just yet. There is one domain that is expired, and another that will expire in July. Both of these will be abandoned.

There was one show that I was able to watch on Hulu, but that is all. It would seem as the number of available entertainment has diminished at least with regards to me when it comes to the Internet. I am regretfully considering giving Netflix a try, but will have to wait as to keep the billing in line with my income.

Not much happened today. I walked the dogs, and did a little bit of management on my domains. I also had to go to the post office in Downtown which I had to get some packaging tape. This is to seal the box for the defective router. This had to be sent in order to not be charged for the router. While I was at the post office, I received a piece of mail that should have gone to my home. I will be calling them tomorrow for that.

Something depressing has happened. Yesterday evening, I seem to have misplaced my iPod Touch. This is intended for apps, and internet radio – especially at night. I also play the iPod touch when I exercise the dogs. I will be looking for that tomorrow. I will also be changing the social networks that are linked with the iPod in case I can’t find it.
