Not much happened today. I received my benefits which was then used to pay my bills. My electric bill was higher than I would have liked, so I wasn’t able to put as much as I would have wanted on my credit card. Obviously my minimum balance is still paid (minimum×2+Interest+Monthly Recurring). Alexis got her new SIM card active so she is now able to use her new phone. In addition, the dogs got a walk today, and the pipes unfroze.
Not much else happened today. And no real plans for tomorrow. I will have to walk the dogs as expected, but otherwise – nothing much to go on. Sometime this weekend, I will like to do my laundry, but will wait until after I see my brother, or on Sunday, whichever is to come first.
Not much happened today. I was home most of the day although I went to the pharmacy to drop off my prescription. It’s due to be filled on the 9th, but that is a Sunday, and I have to do grocery shopping on the 11th, so that is when I will pick up my prescription.
I walked the dogs, and of course gave them time to play. Not much else happened, especially with today being so hot. I received my electric bill electronically, and I could either pay $15.75 or pay $31.67 as a budget amount – you know because the more expensive option is s much smarter. I made the necessary adjustments to my calendar entry for tomorrow so I have one place to compare all of the variable bills.

Today was a bit of a busy day. I first had to go to the post office where I picked up my mail including a couple of bills that were paid, and my electric bill. Of course, wanting to deal with that immediately, I took care of my phone bill, and then took care of the electric bill. It would seem as if I used 96kw, and had a $20 bill. In all honesty, I wished it was lower. I also received a letter from the light company because the mail goes to the post office box rather than my home address.
While I was at the T-Mobile store, I asked a question about a problem I have with my phone’s email client. It would seem as if there is a bug, and the solution is to install another email client. Hm, T-Mobile, that is not a solution to the bug. I also chatted with a couple of people and sent a message to another person. Otherwise, not much went on, especially with the great deal of pain I have. I did go to the grocery store, and got hopefully a week’s worth of groceries. I spent some time watching some shows on Hulu, but that was to catch up so to say.
As for plans for tomorrow, I will be attempting to do some cleaning in my apartment, and maybe – just maybe make a small video. I will also want to try to create a blog entry other than the daily updates. In any event, I will try to make most of the day.
Today was a very hectic day. First, I had to go to the Section-8 office. It will seem as if the landlord I was expecting to rent from didn’t do what he was supposed too, or decided to screw me over which needless to say was not a benefit to me. I went to the Section-8 office, shown the lease, and it would seem as if there was very little they could do except offer a means of getting new moving papers. The case worker from Section-8 also informed me that if the current landlord/reality company if they can send a fax so they would be able to cover the rent for their portion next month.
I also went to the post office to pick up any mail I had, went to the library to pick up a couple of things, and made a call to cancel the electricity order with Duquesne Electric. I called the manager of the current apartment, but couldn’t reach her. As I returned home, I prepared for the worst. I however hoped for the best. I managed to reach my manager about 1PM which she was more than willing to help out. She sent the fax, and sent me a copy through the maintenance person.

OKay, while this is a good start, let’s face it, really just 4 electric vans? I personally would found it to be more impressive if there was enough to make a dent into their current fleet. Maybe 5%, or even 1% would have been good, but just four vehicles? For there to be a 1% of the fleet, there would have to be 400 delivery vehicles in the fleet, and we all would guess there is way more than just 400.
So, what would this mean? Well, hopefully this is just a test run. However, with the fact they can run 100 miles on an over night electric charge would not likely be for the door to door deliveries, even though their form factor would suggest that.

There are many designs, shapes, and textures to homes today. Some are large, and some are. Some are tall, and some are wide. While I feel only a few restrictions should be placed on homes in comparison today in regards to designs, I feel that the house should be dramatically changed from what they are today.
The reason is the home is the cause of 45% of the greenhouse gases. Imagine if every home was to these standards, we could cut our pollution by almost half. These proposals of requirements are based on technology of today, and while a little more expensive (expect +25%), this would be a dramatic savings to the environment (small carbon footprint), nature (small reality footprint), and the pocket (smaller impact on your finances). However, considering the dramatic changes, these would probably be best for new homes.
