Today (2014-07-14) was a crazy day. First, I had to run a couple of errands. This led me to walk the dogs early in the morning. I then boarded a bus to go to Downtown at 8AM. Out of this, I went to find out shipping costs for an item so I will know when I get a similar item. I also got an email from an eBay seller to tell me that what I asked for wasn’t what I got. So, that was a thorn in the side. I also went to FedEx to make a few copies, and get a receipt scanned to .pdf. After the post office, and FedEx, I waited in line to get into Social Security to get verification of my income. I went home, walked the dogs again, and went back out after I dropped off everything I done. I went to the pharmacy to pick up something there, and made it back home.
Part of what needed to be done was fold some documents which then had to be stamped, and prepared to send. The income verification would have been among them, but the envelope from the company was defective which meant I had to call them, and get an address I can send mail too. That will have to be done when I get the chance. I will have that document and what needs to be done prepared beforehand. The receipt is for my Nexus 5 which I chose to spend $90 for a 2 year agreement as compared to what I would have to pay with T-Mobile. I sent an IM to the person that was supposed to have the phone about the defect. I also sent a message to help someone, wrote two blog postings on my Technology Blog, and a posting on this blog (other than this one), and concluded the day with dinner, and ending the evening.

This week was a bit eventful. Even though Capital One denied me receiving the Quicksilver card (the one with cash back), and received a notice of the denial, I received another application request, and got the card I applied for. So, go figure. This week has been relatively busy otherwise. On Monday, I had to go to my anesthesiologist for a regular check up, and prescription. While on the bus to that appointment, I made an appointment for the dentist for the next day for some mold castings. In addition, on Monday, I bought a new pair of jeans, a package of socks, and razors (cheap ones) that will be used if the set I ordered does not come in time.
On Tuesday, it was just as busy. First, I went to register with the CAP Program. This will help make my electric bill a little more affordable. The representative suggested that I don’t pay next month’s bill which will be a shocker to me. However, I will follow their advise – at least for one month. That money will however go to my credit card. I also had to call a specialized pharmacy to verify some information for a special medicine I will receive for my pain. This will be in conjunction with my regular pain medicine. I then returned home, walked the dogs, and took a little nap. I woke up to go to the dentist which I forgot my shopping cart. I therefore will have to go another day. The dental appointment was better than most of the appointments as there was no real discomfort as they had to file a couple of the teeth down for the mold castings.

Today was a bit of an eventful day. The dogs got their walks. I also decided to not keep the tablet I got on sale. Simply put, it was not what I will expect for quality, and had trouble to do just the basic tasks. Amazon will be sending UPS to pick up the tablet. If I knew that I would had to still make a printout at FedEx (for the RMA), I would have just sent it myself without UPS’s intervention.
Otherwise, not much else happened. I had a headache through a part of the day which wasn’t pleasant. Otherwise, not much else happened. As for plans for tomorrow, I will expect to be home, but otherwise – that will be all.
Not much happened today. I received my tablet which I expected better. I also received my gloves, and stylus. The gloves, and stylus will stay together as they will be used when it is too cold. I also gave the dogs a couple of walks, and fed them each a part of sweet potato while I ate turkey and mashed potatoes. Otherwise, not much happened today.
As for plans for tomorrow, I will expect Chris to show up to provide a portion of his phone bill. Otherwise, not much is planned for tomorrow. Likewise, much of next week will be rather quiet, especially since almost all of my money for December went to bills.
Not much happened today. I spent a significant portion of my day waiting on FedEx. However, about 3PM, I received my rawhide sticks (for the dogs), and headphones. Once the headphones were charged, I paired it with the phone, and will have attempt to make use of them tomorrow.
Of course, the dogs had their walk, and brushing. I also watched a couple of videos, and chatted with someone on Skype. I also updated my OS to Windows 8.1 which I now have a completely useless button on my taskbar with my desktop environment.

Today was a very long day. I left about 9AM and didn’t get home until almost 5:30PM. Look at all of the things I do for family. First, Andrea needed a replacement phone, so I needed to make those arrangements. This was done in Downtown, and while I was dealing with the phone, I also paid the bill. Once I finished that, I sent Chris’ defective phone which was to be sent via UPS.
I then arrived at Andrea’s place which my youngest nephew for the second day in a row has been nothing but mean and miscreant to me. I am not taking it personally, but if it was my child, there would have to be a bit more discipline with him. I even caught him kicking Nippers (the family dog) which I really set him straight about that.

Not much happened today. I tried to do some work that needed to be done a few days ago, but the multi-function center refuses to work (again). I gave up, and took the work down to FedEx Office. I will receive the money back, but it is still a pain in the behind. I will call Brother again about this failed machine when I have the patience and resources. I will likely have to allow them to hold a deposit while a replacement machine is in cross shipping.
Not much else is going on. Things are much the same, and the days are relatively quiet. I had a lot of Lindens which were converted to US dollars to pay for about half of my bill. This of course depleted much of my Lindens, but I haven’t been spending them much anyhow.

A bit happened today, and some of it was time wasted. I notice some errors in a complaint letter I was going to send to T-Mobile, but not before I had it printed. Since I don’t have a printer, I had to go to a FedEx Office store. Since I went home, and noticed the error, I had to go back to Downtown. I did managed to get the letter printed, and I had it sent via Certified Mail which means someone will sign noting it was received.
I also walked the dogs, and filled up water jugs as well as one for iced tea. Last, I watched a show on Hulu, but otherwise – the day has been relatively quiet. As for plans for tomorrow, no real plans especially being the weekend. I will continue to work on a document that I Google Drive been giving me formatting problems with. Hopefully, it is just a bug that will be resolved in my next restart.
Not much happened today. I stayed home with the exception of taking the dogs for a walk. The plumber needed to come to fix some pipes from the upstairs that caused some ceiling damage in the kitchen.
In addition, Chris stopped by for a little while, but didn’t stay long. In addition, the cellular router from Freedom Pop also came. I did a little test on it, and wrote a first impression blog posting ( http://fsp.cc/250 ). It will remain off while it is not needed since I am limited to 500MB.

Today was a bit of a busy day. I got the battery from HP about 9:30, although the FedEx guy just left it on the stoop for anyone to take it. I am just glad I was keeping an eye for it. After that, I walked the dogs on the treadmill and took them for a social walk. Shortly afterwards, I left for Downtown. I had to check for my mail which I didn’t get anything of importance. I went back home, and checked the battery for its charge.
The rest of the day was spent trying to tend to things I needed to address, and another set of walk with the dogs. I then made a couple of sandwiches for myself, and watched a couple of shows on TV. As for plans for tomorrow, not much planned. I will most likely stay home for the most part.
