Not much happened today. I was home much of the day with exception of walking the dogs. Chris stopped by today, but he didn’t get to withdraw the money for his phone bill. He did spend the night here though.

Not much else is going on. As for plans for tomorrow, I will likely have to go to Bellevue to get my shoes fixed. This will likely require that I use my credit card. Otherwise, not much planned for the day.

Not much happened today. For the most part, it was a waste. I walked the dogs early in the morning, and while I wanted to walk them in the afternoon when I returned, it was raining, so that wasn’t possible. I had a dental checkup which went as expected. I went to Chris’ place, to pick up some of the phone bill money owed, but never received it. I then went to Downtown to get cleats on my shoes before returning home to feed the dogs.

As for plans for tomorrow, no real plans. I will likely remain home for the most part. I would have like to put the money that needed to go into the bank, but this will not be possible.

Not much happened today. I took the dogs for another long walk which I am paying the consequences for. When I got home, I had to take off my shoes, and rest 15-20 minutes before I even started the dog’s meal. After everyone ate, it seemed as if everyone was content with a small nap.

As for plans for tomorrow, no plans for tomorrow. I will likely stay home for the day. I will of course walk the dogs, although not nearly as intense. I have an appointment on Friday, and another on Monday, but those are for other days.

First Impressions: ObiHai 100

I received the ObiHai 100 earlier today, and after dusting off my Gigaset A510, I have a home phone. The reason for this is I wanted a phone that would remain home without costing a lot of money. Even with T-Mobile’s plans with a third line costing $10, it will still be a significant additional cost, and using a phone that has been less reliable as the days rolled on.

So, why did I want this device. It is one of the few devices that has direct support with Google Voice. This will mean that I will be able to make calls using GTalk, and likewise – receive calls. This (as of 2013) will be treated as free if I am calling US, or Canada as well as +883. This allows a phone to remain home, and allows a single phone number to display when making calls.

Not much happened today. I spent most of the day home, although the dogs had their brushing as they always do every Saturday. However, with the severe pain from the ankles this week, I decided to stay off of my feet as much as possible today which it seem to have helped.

However, being a Saturday, there wasn’t much available on Hulu (at least from what I watch). Eventually, I finished the day with dinner, and the dogs played for a while to get some excess energy out.

A bit happened today. I went to Andrea’s house to look at their PC which is in so bad shape. The best resolution I could give them is to reformat it, and install fresh. After that, they will need to install drivers on the system. I don’t think they will do that, so it will likely be a paperweight until then. I came back home, and too the dogs out for a walk. Otherwise, not much else went one.

As for plans for tomorrow, I will expect to stay home which I need to give myself some rest. Otherwise, things will be quiet. with the exception of an expected walk for the dogs.

Not much happened today. I stayed home with the exception of having to get a loaf of bread. I also been allowing the dogs out in the back yard for more play time to get rid of some of their excess energy. Since I no longer have a treadmill, I can’t properly exercise them.

I also spent a little time watching a series on Hulu. As for plans for tomorrow, not much planned with it being the end of the month, and a Sunday.

No More PO Box

Earlier this month, my PO Box expired, and this was by choice. There were a number of reasons of why, but this will now take some adjusting. This is the first time in 20 years that I had been without a PO Box. The reason of why was for privacy.

However, I have come across the realization that I almost never send nor receive mail beyond bills. Needless to say, my Internet Service Provider for example knows my address. The same applies to the electric company. So, instead of paying $38 per 6 months, and have to spend a morning anytime I will want to check my mail that may or may not have anything in it, I have decided to simply cancel the box.

Not much happened today. I stayed home with the exception of taking the dogs for a walk. The plumber needed to come to fix some pipes from the upstairs that caused some ceiling damage in the kitchen.

In addition, Chris stopped by for a little while, but didn’t stay long. In addition, the cellular router from Freedom Pop also came. I did a little test on it, and wrote a first impression blog posting ( http://fsp.cc/250 ). It will remain off while it is not needed since I am limited to 500MB.

Not much went on today. I basically took the dogs out, and stayed home. I have no real plans until Friday when I will have to run errands. I did catch up on some podcasts, and added on since it wasn’t being delivered what was supposed a collective of all of the podcasts. This was rather disappointing though.

As for plans for tomorrow, not much planned. I will try to get a hold of my brother, but for the most part – no plans.
