June has been a busy month. At recommendation of my Anesthesiologist, I started seeing a psychologist as part of pain management. As of June, I started to write a Pain Diary which I have been doing 3 times a day. In addition to help with making the pain better, I should be more social. For those that know me knows I am not the most social person, and always had issues with large crowds. However, the psychologist makes sense with the rationale (at least in my case), and been trying to reduce the discomfort with crowds by exposing myself (her words – not mine). In this regard, this means forcing myself into situations where it is discomforting, but not overwhelming. In addition, I am writing a log of those events – all of which have been provided to the psychologist when I see her. I took the dogs for a longer walk a couple of times this month. Otherwise, not much has happened.
Not much happened this month. I had an appointment with my anesthesiologist, and since finding a doctor of his recommendations on my own has been unsuccessful, I had ask for his referral. In turn, he is referring me to the the previous office that I had dealt with that I wasn’t in approval of that anesthesiologist. Thankfully, this will not be the reason I will go. I have an appointment in the first week of June, but personally not sure what talking about my pain will do – but I trust my doctor (or I wouldn’t be with him), so I am going to give this a neutral attempt.
Nothing else happened. I bought Xavier (my youngest nephew) a tablet, which was a 2 for 1 special. I kept the second one which in my opinion has been less than suitable. I will be writing a review on it later in June. Otherwise, not much else happened in May.
For about a year, my Anesthesiologist (doctor specializing in pain management), and/or his colleagues have been recommending seeing another doctor in a separate specialty in addition to seeing him. I currently see my anesthesiologist every three months to make sure everything is well, and to receive prescriptions for a narcotic pain killer. However, since the last visit – I have been considering the suggestion. Personally, I am not sure what the secondary specialist will be able to do, and I have been procrastinating as I have too many doctors now. Not only do I have the anesthesiologist, but I also have a dentist due to bad teeth, an ear specialist due to my left ear drum being collapsed, and of course a primary care physician. In addition, if my ankles should ever take a turn for the worse, I may have to see an orthopedic surgeon, and another specialty (although not a physician) is a pedorthist (specializes in medical molded shoes). With all of this in mind, one could possibly understand why the procrastination.
So, tomorrow afternoon, I will be seeing my PCP, and ask for a recommendation with the specialty the anesthesiologist recommended. If she can’t provide one, then I will contact the nurse’s line for my anesthesiologist and should get something there. One of the other reasons I am considering this is due to the times that the pain gets worse, it has been more extreme, and lasts longer. Other options will involve consuming more Ibuprofen which can have problems in its own right, or seek different medicine. If the anesthesiologist suggested the option he has been recommending, I should look into that before I go and ask for something stronger. If I receive a diagnosis (in addition to the too damn many I have now) regarding my pain, then I will indulge more.
This was a bit of a hectic week. I got the replacement Nexus 7 from T-Mobile which is doing Assurant’s job. Assurant also received their inferior tablet they sent me. I also did some grocery shopping, but for the most part – not much has been done. There have been some days where I was in a lot of pain, so therefore this week wasn’t nearly as productive as it should have been. I have been aiding my brother in a game he liked, but was frustrated that he lost his resources with the game. I have also been trying to work on the same game for myself, but this is another issue.
As for plans for next week, I will like to get a few groceries, but otherwise not much else is planned. I am still trying to get the money for Talisa, and with a few other issues going on – it has become harder. I will also be expecting to get money from my brother for his phone bill.
This week was a little busy, but much the same. I spent a part of it working on a couple of sites – mostly addressing the fsp.rentals sub domain. I also had an appointment with my anesthesiologist. The dogs got walked most of the days, but there have been times where the pain was a little unbearable to walk them. On Saturday, I received new backup headphones – although no support for phones, so it will only work for the tablet. It is however better than almost nothing.
As for plans for the next week, I will have to go to the bank to deposit money to transfer to my credit cards. I will also expect a charge for my Kindle to come through. In addition, I will need to do some laundry, especially socks. However, much of next week will be like this week.
This week was a somewhat eventful one. I had to go to the ear doctor which they put a hole in the ear drum to drain the fluids. They also gave me ear drops which is to help with the fluid. It seems to be working properly, although there is still a few days left with that. I took the dogs for a long walk to Downtown, but was in a bit of pain when I got back. In this regard I over did it I am sure. I also received some money owed which went to Amazon. This is because I need to build up as much as possible to address the Prime Membership fees that will be due next month.
The dentures aren’t doing as well as I would like. I will make an appointment next week to address that. On some other news, I got a new domain name which is fsp.house, however I didn’t get fsp.link. The first one joined my Big Ass What If Network of sites, while the second unsuccessful one was intended to replace fsp.cc as a redirect system. I have sought for two other domains in pre-registration – which both will join the Big Ass What If Network of sites as well. The first pre-registered was fsp.rentals (be released on May 29), while the second is fsp.country (be released on July 1).
Not much happened today. I did a little bit of work on some documents. However, the day has been relatively quiet. I walked the dogs, but ended up with some pain. I tried to keep off of my feet when possible.
I also been getting SPAM calls from Chicago Illinois. I am at the point where I am about to ignore every Chicagoan number. If so, those calls will be forced to voicemail, and if they choose to not leave a valid voice mail, then they will not get a call back.
Not much happened today. I was prepared to walk to one of the local stores to get low dose aspirin for Malak, but someone was willing to pick some up for me which was very nice of her. Chris never showed up for this weekend, and he still owes for his phone bill. Not much else happened today.
As for plans for tomorrow, I am hoping that Malak’s pulled muscle gets better. I also have to run a couple of errands which has to be done. Unfortunately, it will be hard to combine my errands and grocery shopping into one day, so I am not going to try.
Today could have been a better day. I noticed Malak limping after our walk which I am hoping he just pulled a muscle. The fact he went to chase after something in the back yard isn’t making things better. I am going to give him the weekend to see if he is improving. If not, I will have to figure out how to get him to see a vet.
Otherwise, not much happened today. I did some work on a couple of sites, but that is about all. I did try to keep Malak resting although the leg that seems to be hurting is a little swollen
Not much happened today. I walked the dogs, ate some soup, and did a little work on the web site, but not as much as I wanted too. I also tried to reach my brother to find out about the phone bill payment with no success. Sometimes, I feel as if my family is more trouble than good.
I watched a couple of videos, but was falling asleep with the concoction of medicines I have to take. Not only am I taking my morphine, but also an Anti-Biotic, and the dentist suggested that I also take Ibuprofen to even out the swelling that I will have from the extractions.
