At time of writing this post, I have three debts of $2,650 + Interest, and one debt in collections (which I will detail later in this post). This is a significant improvement from a couple of years ago where I owed nearly $40,000. Needless to say, I have declared war on the money I owe to banks, and other creditors and taking on my financial mistakes with a vengeance.
This however is not without sacrifice. I had to make some serious decisions in my life, and I am sure some people will disagree with my actions, but the ideal is to live meagerly now so I can have a better life later. Some people will want to get out of debt so they can buy a car or a house. I don’t see me having such options available to me. In reality, the idea of owning a place I can call my own is a fantasy rather than a dream. So why am I doing it? Well, first – it is the right thing to do. Second, when I seen a light at the end of the tunnel, I had to make $125 in minimum payments per month to be on good terms with the companies I deal with now. Considering that I live below the poverty line, this is a serious challenge that will never end unless I first fix my life, and second attack my debt with the ferocity it deserves. This week could have been better. Although one thing that happened was I finally received the check from Assurant. In that event, it took them 30 seconds to take my money, and 30 days to return it. Otherwise, everything else went in regards to paying bills, adding funds on my transit card, and getting the basic things that the first week of the month needs to be addressed with. I have been playing Clash of Clans, but hadn’t been very successful with attacks, but oh well – hopefully that area will improve. No real plans for the coming week are expected. Andrea and Chris are late with their phone bill (as normal).
Not much happened this week. I done a little work on my various sites. I also took the dogs out for a couple of long walks this week. I finished paying my bills including my Electric Bill. Andrea paid most of the bill for her phone which was used to make another payment to my credit card. I also had to buy some groceries, and I ordered dog food for the month. Not much else went on. I did receive my food benefits, but will be waiting until I have to go close to the grocery store before buying food. This is why I bought some groceries early.
As for plans for next week, I will have two doctor appointments, one being for the ear which started draining again, while the other is a dental cleaning appointment. Also, with Google terminating XMPP support with GTalk, this will mean I will have to make some adjustments with my home phone. I will be doing this at the last minute to reduce the cost of using the SIP provider. Otherwise, not much is planned for the week to come.
A bit happened today. I got a deposit from Andrea whom paid most of the money she owed, but said she will pay the rest on Friday. However, this deposit allowed me to go to the main street, make a purchase, and pull out $20 from my Wallet which all of the money received transferred to Google Wallet.
Otherwise, not much else happened. The return on the Lenovo Tablet was received in Lexington Kentucky which was the destination city. This will mean it will be returned to Amazon tomorrow. Amazon already processed my credit on my Amazon credit, while the amount charged to my credit card should be refunded by Friday.

Not much happened today. I received some of the money that is due to me. This will be deposited into the bank when I have to go to the Northside. I have been fighting a flu virus, or other illness. I will likely consider making an appointment.
As for plans for tomorrow, not much is planned. I am hoping to feel better, but otherwise no plans. Since it is the end of the month, there are not much going on. Most of my activity will be in the beginning of the month.
Not much happened today. Someone was supposed to stop down, but didn’t show. I pretty much expected that. Chris stopped down with a partial payment from Andrea. Otherwise, today has been much like most other days towards the end of the month.
As for plans for tomorrow, I will have a dental appointment tomorrow, but otherwise – again it will be a quiet day. About half of the money from Andrea will also be deposited into the bank to eventually transfer to the credit card.
Not much happened today. I had to go to the bank to get a little money out to cover for something the next day. However, if I could have predicted the future, I wouldn’t have gone down as I received money from a person that owed it to me for some things I had done for him earlier than I thought I would. Most of my day otherwise though was home with nothing special going one.
As for plans for tomorrow, a lot will need to be done. First, I will pick up a set of DVDs I ordered. After that, I will go to Downtown to get new cleats on my shoes, and get a SIM card for my oldest nephew. I will also have to meet with Andrea to give her the SIM card, and collect the money she will owe for her phone bill. This will however all be done in the afternoon.
Not much happened today. I went to the bank and pulled a $20 bill from the ATM. This was intended for laundry for the next day. I went home, and spent a little time working on the massive document project I have been in pursuit of. Chris seemed to have misplaced the phone which is something he has to do with every expensive phone. Before the phone died, it was showing in the area of his home, so it should be in the house, or his car.
Also, in the late evening, a person that owed money came by and dropped it off. In hindsight, I would have been best to not spend the money to withdraw the $20, but since he is unreliable in times of when he was paying, it could have been today, or later this week. The laundry needs to be done tomorrow.

A bit happened today, and very little of that being good. I went to collect the money via a Money Gram. It ended up being that I had to get the receipt and go to two additional places which made my trip starting at 9AM and I didn’t get home until almost 1PM. Once I got home, I took my medicine and took the two for a walk. I was in too much pain to do any cooking though.
I also helped someone who wasn’t familiar with the buses whom needed advise on going from Robinson Township to Shadyside. Otherwise, I didn’t do much. As for plans for tomorrow, I will have to do what I was supposed to do today, but couldn’t. This will include going to Downtown to get a document printed, and eventually mailed out. Otherwise, little else is planned.
