Not much happened. I tried to reach Chris, but wasn’t successful. I did get an SMS from Andrea regarding the money she owes for her phone. I should be seeing her tomorrow. I also did some work on the web site which hasn’t been published yet. I also watched a few shows on Hulu.

As for plans for tomorrow, not much planned. I expect to see Andrea tomorrow to where I will deposit the money she owes. In addition, I will have to get a couple of things at the grocery store as well.

Not much happened today. I received an SMS message, and went to the store. I was also able to walk the dogs, but otherwise not much happened. As for plans for tomorrow, not much will be planned. I might go to the grocery store to get a loaf of bread, but otherwise – there will be little I will be doing

Not much happened today. I sent a few SMS messages, and replied to an email, but otherwise – my day was pretty quiet. I did start another web site, but there needs to be some changes. Needless to say, this has been a very quiet day.

As for plans for tomorrow, not much is planned. I might have an errand to do, but for the most part – again, my day will be relatively quiet.

Not much happened today. It would seem as if Talisa decided to misbehave in the evening, but there was a few corrections. I also did a little work on a couple of sites, and sent an SMS message to Andie because it is against her religion to answer the phone. I also watched a couple of television shows, and took an evening bath.

As for plans for tomorrow, After I walk the dogs, I will have to feed them, and go to see Andie. I will also have to consider whether I should try to get my soles replaced the next day later in the week. I won’t be able to do it tomorrow since it will be too late.

Not much happened today. With the snow, ice and frigid temperature, the dogs still hadn’t got an outdoor walk, although the temperature is suppose to improve tomorrow. If so, they will get one then. Thankfully, they are doing well on the treadmill, and will plan on increasing the time they spend on the treadmill, but shorten the number of times. My goal is 20 minutes at 6AM, Noon, and 6PM which will give them the exercise they will not get with a single walk per day.

I watched a couple of recorded shows on TV, and decided to wipe one of the sites I have, and start over (don’t worry, not this one). There was a small SMS conversation with someone, and I chatted with another friend I hadn’t heard from in a while. Otherwise, not much went on.

Soon Cutting Back – Phone

Soon, Andie will be leaving my phone account to her own. When this happens, I will be strongly looking at my phone plan, and see what can be cut back, and at what savings. Simply put, I rarely use my cell phone, and will probably only need about 500 minutes. However, I don’t like the thought of having to count minutes. So, in turn – I will need to make sure I will be able to receive calls even when I don’t need to use my cellular phone.

Now, I do have a landline which is cheaper to have it, than not have it (don’t know how, but hey what do I know). The problem is I don’t want people to deal with having to call my home then call my cell – or worse yet, call my cell to ask if I am home. Needless to say, I won’t want to use my home phone number often. So, what would I do?

Today, not much happened. The dogs had an early second walk. The reason for this was due to the doctor’s office decided I want my future medications delivered which would have been anytime after 3PM. This is an inconvenience to me especially since the pharmacy is a 5 minute walk.

I also did some work on one of my sites. In addition, Chris stopped by, but wasn’t able to take me to the store as he didn’t have enough gas which I can understand, but it would mean I probably should look to other options to get my groceries. A friend of mine was able to stop by this evening since I asked him to come to watch the dogs tomorrow. This is to hopefully prevent Malak from barking. The only thing I may need him to do will be to let them out once or twice at most. He may also need to give them water, but otherwise – not much will be required.

Not much happened today. I spent some of my time exchanging SMS messages, and tried to reach Chris as he was supposed to meet with me. However, much of my day has been working on a couple of different web sites. I will soon post all of them, but for now – everything is still being worked on, and I want to make sure I have everything in order as there were a couple of changes. As for plans for tomorrow, I will have to go to the post office and pay my postal bill. Thankfully my bank offers a 24 hour grace period for over-drafts, so that will mean I will have to come up with money for bus fare. This will be the tricky thing, especially on the day before I will get my benefits.

How T-Mobile Should Wage the Price War!

There is speculation that T-Mobile might start a price war in the United States Cell phone industry. Immediately, this would get the budget VMNOs who don’t have a contract over to the new carrier who would not only offer a competitive price, but better line of phones. It is speculated that T-Mobile might do $50/month for everything which is ½ of the next price competitor (Sprint’s Everything Plan). However, there are some things that might need to be addressed. What of the VOIP lines that T-Mobile offers ( @Home )? These lines are only $10 a month? Also, what about people who might benefit from their voice/SMS plan, and won’t want to change simply for data, especially on their dumb phones?

I put some thought into this, and figured one plan may not be enough. In addition, there are data cards, and tethering. These issues would have to be addressed as well. Here are my thoughts.

Directory Assistance for Free (or nominal cost)

There is a way that Google can save you money. This could be in one of the most expensive calls that your carrier charges you for. That would be every single time you call Directory Assistance (411). You spend a minute on the phone, and they charge an average of $2.00 + airtime. However, either just paying for airtime, or paying for your SMS (aka text messages), you can save money by completely bypassing 411.

Keep in mind that these tips would consume your SMS and/or your airtime. Also, if you have a calling circle service such as T-Mobile, or Verizon Wireless, you would not be able to add either number to your circle. If you have unlimited SMS, or voice, than use the one most appropriate first. You would also want to inquire with your carrier about US Short Codes, and your phone or plan. This could be especially true with Cricket Communications where some of the lesser quality phones don’t support US Short Code.
