Week 12 – 2014

This week was a pretty dull and quiet week. I had to go to Downtown to handle something on the behalf of someone else. I also had received a call from LiHEAP which I should be receiving something from them soon to give to the landlord. While I was in Downtown, I bought the needed postage to take care of that. Chris also stopped by and spent the night, but otherwise – this has been a relatively quiet week.

On some other notes, I did have a problem with my Verizon FiOS router which made a 10 minute job take the entire afternoon. Needless to say, I am not happy about that. I also received the Amazon Kindle (basic model without ads). The only reason I was able to get this is because I do it across 6 monthly payments. I wrote a first impression review about it. I also watched episode 14 of The Walking Dead, and all I have to say is poor Lizzie, but in some instance I seen it coming. When Chris watched the episode, he was a bit shocked and astounded. He didn’t see it coming at all.

I also took the dogs for a long walk. This meant leaving my apartment to go down Troy Hill Road to Cedar Avenue where I turn and loop at Giant Eagle. It was 50°F on that morning, and they deserve a good walk. I attempted an alternate means of going back home to not have to battle the steep Troy Hill Road at one time. I also did some personal document work, and updated my media players on my tablets and phone. It would seem as if I only have a handful of night songs left even though I have a lot of daytime songs. I will use the one playlist through the night to compensate.

Not much is planned for next week. I will have to go to the pharmacy to fill a prescription. While I am filling the prescription, I will deposit a $10 check into the bank, and get a couple of groceries as well as dog food. Otherwise, there isn’t much planned for the week. I should hopefully get some money from a couple of people, and hopefully before the end of the week. That way, I can deposit the money, and use it when I have to address my bills on the 1st.
